We have two children at the American School Macedonia (ASM)- one just ended first grade, and another just ended fourth grade - and we could not be more thankful for this great school. Having completed a few years at a public school, we were looking for the best fit for our sons. ASM was the right choice. We can say that ASM is more than a school - it is a family of students, teachers, staff & parents who truly care. We feel strongly that everyone here fully invests in our children - not just academically, but also in their growth and in every aspect of their lives. We have seen tremendous development & progress in our children, and we are at ease when they are at school knowing they are cared for, safe, and in a place that facilitates their future success. We are pleased to have enrolled our children at ASM and look forward to the years to come.

We enrolled our daughter at ASM in January 2023 when she joined 1st grade in the second semester. From the first day, she felt at home and is very happy and motivated to attend school. So far, we are hugely satisfied with the course work, materials, teaching staff, and, most of all, with the values, principles, and morals by which the whole school is governed and operates. ASM is a rare positive example of quality education delivered with passion and care.

The American School Macedonia (ASM), Skopje delivered beyond our expectations from the beginning till the end of our daughter's education, on the school academics learned, the well-being of the students, and the overall inclusiveness. At ASM, our daughter was able to learn from highly motivated and well-educated professionals, who guided the students in the subjects through practical examples and real-life applications that are so important for their future. This school brings up strong confident children. My daughters are always excited to go to school and look up to what is in the store for the day. The teachers are so caring, they know every child in the school, and you can tell how much they value and care for each student and family.

My daughter joined ASM in the second half of the 11th grade. She was planning to continue her studies abroad and we thought that permanently practicing the English language while studying would be beneficial for her future studies. She received excellent support from the staff and the students from the beginning. According to her experience in ASM, she says that even though they have quizzes and tests for all subjects almost every week, she felt less pressure. She also learned more because students may ask questions and they immediately receive answers from their teachers. Students have a close relationship with teachers, staff, and the school principal and they receive support in the preparation of external English tests and the State Matura exams. I have many positive things to write about ASM ... Highly recommended!

ASM is a safe, close-knit school that feels like a big welcoming family. Safety, integrity, hard work, patience, and understanding are qualities that are truly meaningful to me and come to mind first when I think of ASM.

For the 13 years we have been part of the ASM family, my son and I have felt at home. We are proud to say we have been part of the school for so long, and could not be more satisfied. The office and the teachers have always been wonderful, and their teaching methods and values have helped sculpt ASM into a truly amazing environment that suits anyone and everyone. I am also glad that when my son thinks back to his school years, he will look back at them in a very positive light.
