General attire and appearance
American School Macedonia requires the wearing of school uniform. Wearing the school uniform fosters a sense of community and belonging and encourages students to develop pride in their appearance, it ensures that our students feel equal and are dressed safely and appropriately for school activities, and prepares students for possible future expectations of workplaces.
The complete pack of three T-shirts (two blue and one orange) and one long-sleeved sweater is available from the school office.
ASM students are expected to dress in school uniform and to present a neat appearance. It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to ensure their child attends school in correct uniform and complies with the school’s Dress Code. In line with the school policies, students not wearing the school uniform will be sent home.
In the event that a student is waiting to receive an ordered school uniform, that student may wear clothing of their choice that is appropriate for school.
Students may wear their own trousers/jeans/skirts (no shorts/tracksuits/ crop tops/tight tops/mini-skirts), etc. and comfortable/appropriate footwear.
